Jessica Jewell is a writer and communications consultant currently living in Budapest, Hungary. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Indiana University (BA in English Literature) and Kent State University, NEOMFA (MFA in Poetry Writing).
Her work recently appeared or is forthcoming in Nimrod, The Adirondack Review, Harpur Palate, Copper Nickel, Rhino, wicked alice, Poetry Midwest, Barn Owl Review, Poems & Plays, Angle Magazine, among others. She has been a finalist for several literary awards, including the Beatrice Hawley Award, and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her first chapbook, Slap Leather, is forthcoming from dancing girl press.
